Colorado Courts Said No To Trump Primary Ballot

19 December 2023. Colorado is one of the 50 American states. Its Supreme Court disqualified Donald Trump from the 2024 primary ballot, because of Section 3, the insurrection clause.

4 March 2024: The case went to the U.S. Supreme Court, which said Colorado has no power to take such decisions. “Nothing in the Constitution delegates to the States any power to enforce Section 3 against federal office holders and candidates.”
