Racism Camp Fires

Kids in countries not controlled by Wi-Fi know how to make fire. You need dry grass, some dry twigs, put heavier branches on top, graze two stones against each other to get sparks to light the fire. You then crouch to nudge it by blowing it into action.

Racism is a campfire dry-twigged at home, workplace, political parties, fundraising balls, drinking places, the locker room, sports taverns and religion. It has a place and time, but it has one characteristic. It mocks nature by redefining who is a human being. It’s easy to dispose of things and animals.

Dry twigs used for racism are a lie. There are no superior races with a licence to kill so-called inferior races. We are all woman-born, eat, drink, use the toilet and die.

The European race is not superior to other races, never was. White settlers wanted land which is now called South Africa, Canada or the U.S. Aboriginal people in Africa, Asia and Pacific had it. Racism was the answer.

Upper and lower chambers in Europe decided to ‘downgrade’ owners of the land to animals so that they could dispose them like thrash and plant European flags on their land and sing God Save the Queen.

Because they were thrash, they had to be stripped of their humanity, which is resident in their culture, food and knowledge systems. The Roman Catholic Church and other religious sects took the noble role of ‘civilizing’ the natives.

There was something called ‘crown land’ in the British Empire. Ridiculous as it sounds, the Queen of England owned land that was stolen from aboriginal people.

She gave churches land to build residential and boarding schools to blow torch all ‘African-ness’ or ‘Indian-ness.’ The grave of 215 kids from the Kamloops Indian Residential School should be seen in that context.

The Catholic Church did not see kids, it saw remnants of a fire that never took off because it used damp twigs, lies.
